Criteria of forming foreign language communicative competence of students on specialty “Biology”

The article deals with the formation of foreign language communicative competence of students of specialty “Biology”. The author considers the essence of the concept of foreign language communicative competence, determines its main characteristics and justifies the need for the forming of foreign language communicative competence of students in the process of professionally oriented education. The relevance of the study is due to the problem of formation in the process of professionally-oriented education and the definition of criteria that have not received proper scientific justification for their practical implementation. The purpose of this article is to describe the criteria of foreign language communicative competence of students in professionally oriented education. The article presents, substantiates and describes the main criteria, indicators and levels of forming foreign language communicative competence of students on specialty “Biology”. As the result the author generalized three groups of criteria to fundamental knowledge in a foreign language. The author shows criteria will develop their skills in using foreign language and the author also describes the indicators describing the criteria.
